National Cadet Corps (NCC)

MSVV is proudly associated with National Cadet Corps, a Tri – Service Organisation engaged in grooming the youth of India into the disciplined and patriotic citizens and leaders of tomorrow. At MSVV the students from Grade 8 to 10 are eligible for joining the NCC Course. It is a two- year course. After the successful completion of the course, the students receive a certificate from NCC Unit. During the current academic session ( 2024-25), the Cadets (Girls) from MSVV attended the “Combined Annual Training Camp” from 29 April 2024 to 08 May2024 at NCC Safdarjung Enclave. The aforementioned cadets attended the classes specialized in Map Reading, First – Aid, Field Craft, Battle Craft, Road Safety, Disaster Management and other associated Drills. These cadets also went for the Firing Practice at Jamia Firing Range. Our students also showcased their talents in Group Dance, Group Song, skit and Solo Dance, Extempore and various Drills allowing the spectators to catch a glimpse of the multi-faceted growth opportunities provided to every student at MSVV. During the Academic session 2023-24, Cadet Anushka Dass from MSVV was selected for the “Pre- Thal Sainik Camp” and two of our cadets Anushka Dass and Lavanya Bisht attended “Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat Camp.”

Our NCC cadets successfully conducted the NCC drills on the occasion of Independence Day during the last academic session. More than 50 cadets (both boys and girls) participated in these Drills. The Drills were led by Tanisha Gupta and Vinayak Gupta, Head of Group, girls and boys respectively. This is a testament to the Modern school’s commitment of striving for excellence in all the fields of life.
