In adherence to a circular no. DE.15/PSB/CCTV/2017/18581-587 dated September 15, 2017 from the Office of the Director, Directorate of Education, to install sufficient number of CCTV cameras in school premises to mandatorily cover all classrooms, laboratories, corridors, parking areas, library, vacant rooms, lobbies outside washrooms, and all isolated areas to ensure 360 degree coverage of the entire school premises, the school has enhanced the surveillance capacity by installing additional 50 CCTV cameras.
RFID based Attendance
Continuing with enhancing security at school, the RFID Card (Specialized EM 4200, Electro Magnetic card, low frequency) based attendance system was introduced in November 2018. The cards are being used to mark attendance both at entry and exit points in school as well as in buses. Additionally, school buses have been powered with portable scanning devices to record all transactions and transmit the same to parents in real time.
